Indiana Smokehouse, Columbus Indiana

On Saturday, our gluten free adventures took us to Columbus, IN where we discovered Indiana Smokehouse.  We all remarked that Indiana Smokehouse was a must visit if we are even remotely close to the area in future.  The food was amazing and the staff was wonderful.

We enjoyed the brisket so much that we went back to order more, the chicken was fall off the bone delicious.   The fries were perfect,  the sauces were spectacular. 

The cashier wasn't, really at all clear on what was gluten free but luckily a cook was nearby who was.  Most everything on their menu is gluten free, all of the meats and sauces are gluten free.   They have a dedicated fryer so even the fries are gluten free.  Most of the sides are gluten free but for a couple of obvious exceptions like the corn bread and mac and cheese.  They said that even the peach cobbler was gluten free if they left off the crumbles.

We would agree that it's worth a trip to Columbus, IN!
